Step 2 : Handrail, Bow, Stern

Handrail

I used the photoetched handrails "AM-28 IJN Vessels Guard Rails Set 1" and "AM-03 IJN Ship's Accessory Handrail & Ladder Set" from Fine Molds.

I cut off the tabs for sticking from the handrail because those are the parts for beginners. (Detail)

Funnels deck on starboard.

Bow

I scratched build the machine-guns deck on bow. I put the narrow space type handrail to the machine-guns deck. Then I put the girders to the backside.

I replicated the equipment of anchor deck. Chain cables, hawse holes, capstans, bollard heads, fairleaders, chrysanthemum crest board etc. Chain cables are micro chain for hobby.

I put the photoetched hatches and ladders to tip of the hanger. I replicated the jackstay of stretched sprue.

I put a curve type handrail on the bow, and replicated he anchor recess.

Stern

---

remade the boat deck on stern. The beams of backside are the photoetch "AG05 Metal Belt (Circle Hole Narrow) Stainless Steel t-0.15mm" from Fine Molds.

Lookout was put on the boat deck. The window flame AE-18 Metal Mesh Square 09 from Fine Molds.

I put the pillars of MG Sponson of 0.8mm brass rods.

The equipment of hull was quite completed.
