 Step 6: Accessories
 The logo on windshield
The cutting sheet logo that is written "Carrera Sport" is put
on the windshield of LP400S of the photo.
I replicated this logo.
I designed the logo by PC, and I printed it on plain decal sheet with Alps MD printer.
I put the original decal on the windshield part.
I coated the UV cut type gloss clear color on the decal, and polished the
surface with a finishing paper and compound after it dried. The logo will
be defended from a weathering by this work.
I airbrushed the sun-shade on the reverse side.
Revise the parts
The back edge of rear wheel archs are the source of failure.
The parts pointed at by a yellow arrow touch to the body. They are the source of failure. I cut those areas. It has no problem because they are not seen from outside and inside of the engine room.
Thus, the body and chassis were able to unite. I gave a sigh of relief...
Next, I put the latch part, the mesh plate and the muffler(silencer).
Door mirrors
The design of the door mirror is different from genuine LP400S parts. I
remodeled the door mirror parts of LP400.
The installation position of the door mirror is inclined slightly outward.
License plates
I replicated the license number of original car by Alps MD printer.
I put the license plate to the front bumper.
The lambo emblem was replicated with LP400 in a similar way.
I also put the license plate to the rear garnish.
The name plate is the photoetch from Yorzuya.
Other detail parts
The front fender lamp is same type as LP400.
The wiper was changed for the photoetch from Yorzuya.
Finished!
This was hard work for me... I concentrated my energies on the job. I will
put some picture in "Model Gallery" soon.
