Step 6: Chassis

Exhaust Pipe

I remade the muffler cutters with aluminum pipe. The exhaust pipe was completed.

Rear Suspension

As for the rear suspension of Tamiya kit, 4WS power cylinder (yellow arrow pointed) is omitted.

I replicated 4WS power cylinder with brass rod , brass line, and spring pipe. 4WS power cylinder was put to the rear suspension.

Chassis was painted, put the suspension and the exhaust pipe parts.

Wheels

This image is the Mitsubishi GTO's wheel 1992 version. (after first minor change)

But the wheel of Tamiya kit is 1990 version. Therefore I remodeled it in 1992 version.

Wheels were soaked in a bleach, and were torn off plating. The bolt hole outskirts were covered with epoxy pate.

The swelling of the spokes surface was remodeled a flat. And the outline of spokes were remodeled on straight line from curved line.

I made wheel nuts with a brass rod and attached them to the wheel.
The wheel was painted to silver, and was coated clear on the silver. Wheel nuts were painted chrome silver.

The cabin was joined to the Chassis.
